First, i’m terribly sorry. I really hadn’t time past weeks to update this blog. But i want to thanks all the contributors, specially gemmamorris03.

But I am a little disappointed because more and more trackers are implementing filtering system which severely impede OpenTrackers to function normally.
Too bad for them. I decided that the trackers who practice this filtering does not deserve to be listed. What do you think?
So, bye bye torrentseed.org and thgft.org :(

Few days ago, ThePirateBay crew lauches 3000 beta invites for its pre-paid anonymous VPN service Ipredator….and i’m in !

If you want to see some screenshots and download/upload test, check this post on my french forum.

First of all, excuse me, i had quite a lot of a work to do since my last post. But I try do to my best to quickly add submitted trackers to the database.

But today, I’m verry happy to announce that i recently won a contest on Smash!ing apps. They’re giving me a 99$ Visifire licence !

Visifire is a set of open source data visualization components - powered by Microsoft® Silverlight™ & WPF. Visifire is a multi-targeting control which can be used in both WPF & Silverlight applications. Using the same API, charts in both Silverlight & WPF environments can be created within minutes. Visifire can also be embedded in any webpage as a standalone Silverlight App. No Silverlight knowledge required. Visifire is independent of server side technology. It can be used with ASP, ASP.Net, PHP, JSP, ColdFusion, Ruby on Rails or just simple HTML. Don’t take our word for it! Visit Visifire Gallery or design your own chart using Chart Designer or watch Screencasts.

So, now, I have to find some time to integrate it on OpenTrackers.

Thanks Smash!ing Apps, great give-away !

Sorry guys, i’ve been very busy last month. I’ve some projects to start and it took me a lot of time !

But i really want to thank all the contributors : Mastersoft, Typhos, teodora, Martinooooo, Vanb, Xeylah, Noia, nicolae rosu, Omegarazer, Mick, RK, mesrine, xblade, Matrix, Ghostbuster, tunatsub, zegranjola, Chris Cooper, AFLAM3RBY, Mike and Axxel.

Thanks a lot for your participation, OpenTrackers is now monitoring 137 trackers. That’s it !

The next job for me is to check if ALL the trackers are reporting correct status. That a pretty time consuming thing but i want to keep my database up-to-date :)

Sorry but OpenTrackers will no longer track signup status of TorrenTeiros.org. It seems that the tracker had been shut down by FBI.

I’ve added several trackers today : Torrents For All, 420project, Adult Cinema, all4nothin, Empornium, LostFilm, Gamato, Cheggit, H33t, Midnight Torrents and TTFilles.

For the moment, OT checks 113 trackers but database is growing fast with your help. Thank you !

But i’m thinking of the interest to display trackers which are 100% open…Maybe a checkbox to display them or not…
